A selection of the best short films from the 14th Raindance Film Festival. 'Booth Story' is the tale of a feathered creature named Albert and the lengths to which one man goes to overcome loneliness. 'Three Towers' is set in a remote village in Italy, where an old married couple's everyday routine is shattered after a chance encounter with a Scottish tourist. In 'Sofia', it's been four years since Sofia disappeared. Now, for the first time, she must finally tell her story. 'The Boy With No Name' is an animated tale of loneliness and exclusion of a troubled soul. In 'Lucky Sevens', an old man decides to risk what little he has left at the racetrack on a horse with whom he shares a cosmic connection. 'Women of Japan' is a mixed-form animation in which a simple creature goes on a dark and surreal odyssey. 'Old Dog' is an ironic and dark tale about fate and brotherhood. In 'Goodbye Mr Snuggles', what could possibly go wrong with a day's painting in the countryside?
