Triple bill of romantic comedies. In 'Blind Date', Walter (Bruce Willis) takes blind date Nadia (Kim Basinger) to a very important business dinner for which he needs an escort. However, alcohol transforms her into a walking disaster area and by the end of the evening she has cost him his job, wrecked his car - and her jealous boyfriend is after him. 'The Love Letter' is set in the New England town of Loblolly-by-the-Sea. Bookstore-owner Helen (Kate Capshaw) discovers a passionate - but unsigned - love letter, and determines to discover the identity of its author. Meanwhile, her young employee Johnny (Tom Everett Scott) also finds the letter, and assumes it was written by Helen; and matters are complicated further when local resident Janet (Ellen DeGeneres) stumbles across the letter and believes it was written for her by fireman George (Tom Selleck). It seems that before the true identity of the writer is revealed, a good deal of confusion will have descended upon the sleepy backwater. In 'Fools Rush In', straight-laced Manhattanite Alex Whitman (Matthew 'Friends' Perry) and fiery Mexican-American Isabel Fuentes (Salma Hayek) indulge in a night of passion when they meet in Las Vegas. Months later, Isabel is pregnant and the pair decide to wed - but each will have to drastically alter the lifestyles they love.
