Chevolution Film Poster

Documentary that traces the history of one of the most iconic images of the 20th century - the photo of Cuban revolutionary Che Guevara taken by photographer Alberto Korda. Taken in 1960 while Che Guevara was attending an outdoor memorial service, Korda's photo of the revolutionary leader remained unknown until the end of the decade, when an Italian publisher asked to use the image. Since then, the bereted head of the martyred leader has appeared on everything from protest banners to t-shirts, becoming the image of choice for both revolutionaries and advertisers alike.
