Turkish-German director Ozgur Yildirim directs this gritty drama set in the suburban ghettos of Hamburg. Chiko (Denis Moschitto) and his best friend Tibet (Volkan Ozcan) are two second-generation Turkish immigrant teenagers who dream of money, power and respect - all attributes local drug lord Brownie (Moritz Bleibtreu) seems to them to possess. As they do all they can to win Brownie's favour, the boys get drawn into a violent underworld where drugs rule and life is cheap.
