Tim Allen narrates this documentary following a young chimpanzee as he navigates life in the jungles of the Ivory Coast. When a three-year-old chimpanzee known as Oscar loses his mother in an ambush by a rival tribe, his previously joyful existence is now fraught with difficulty. Not only does he struggle to fend for himself, he finds the other chimps in his group reluctanct to care for him. However, he may have found an adoptive father in alpha male Freddy.
