James Rouse makes his directorial debut with this comedy drama following four middle-aged men hiking across Britain. Gordon (Richard Lumsden), his best friend Keith (Karl Theobald) and their former school mates Steve (Jeremy Swift) and Julian (Ned Dennehy), who they haven't seen in years, decide to take on the challenge of a 192-mile hike. The Coast to Coast Walk, as devised by Alfred Wainwright, begins in St Bees in Cumbria and ends at Robin Hood's Bay in the North York Moors National Park. With Gordon's son joining them to film every step of their journey, the men face up to a few home truths about their lives.
