Collection of three films showcasing the talents of English prog-rock group Emerson, Lake and Palmer. In 'Pictures at an Exhibition', the group perform their version of Mussorgsky's 'Pictures at an Exhibition' live at the London Lyceum in 1970. In 'The Birth of a Band', Oscar-winning film maker Murray Lerner directs a documentary which intersperses footage of the band playing their first ever show together at the 1970 Isle of Wight Festival with up-to-date interviews with the group and their manager, John Gaydon. In 'Live at Montreux 1997', the band are captured live at Montreux in 1997. The tracks performed include: 'Tiger in the Spotlight', 'Lucky Man', 'Creole Dance', 'Hoedown', 'Knife Edge', and many more.
