Nicolas Pesce makes his feature debut with his US horror. Francisca (Olivia Bond/Kika Magalhaes) lives on a remote farm with her mother (Diana Agostini), who is a trained surgeon and teaches her daughter the skills of her craft. Tragedy strikes the close-knit family when one day Charlie (Will Brill), a door-to-door salesman, kills Francisca's mother in front of her daughter after being invited into their home. When Francisca's father (Paul Nazak) arrives home, the pair torture Charlie and hold him captive in their barn. Years later, Francisca goes on to repeat the ritual with a Japanese student she meets at a bar and from there takes her depraved sadism to new heights.
