Set in the 1960s this thriller imagines a world political arena if the Nazis had won WWII and Hitler was still in power. In Europe the war is over but fighting between Germany and Russia continues and the Fuhrer is forced to attempt a peace treaty with Joseph Kennedy Snr to free up much needed resources. To this end Hitler invites world press to his birthday celebrations, including the German-born American journalist (Miranda Richardson). While there, Richardson stumbles on a massive Nazi secret - the extermination of the Jews. Together with a defecting SS Officer (Rutger Hauer) the journalist sets out on the dangerous task to expose the Nazi atrocities.
