Festival of Horror: Volume 1

Rated TBC by the BBFC

A triple-bill of horror films. In the comedy horror 'Hack' (2007), seven college students, Emily (Danica McKellar), Johnny (Jay Kenneth Johnson), Maddy (Adrienne Frantz), Ricky (Justin Chon), 'Q' (Won-G), Sylvia (Gabrielle Richens) and Tim (Travis Schuldt), travel to a private island to study wildlife. The island is owned by the reclusive Vincent King (Sean Kanan) and his wife, Mary Shelley (Juliet Landau). It isn't long before a horror-movie inspired killer begins murdering the students one by one. In 'Coffin' (2010), after awakening from a long sleep, Sean Justice (Kevin Sorbo) quickly realises that both he and his girlfriend, Rona (Sunny Doench), are lying in a small wooden box buried under the ground. With only two hours of precious air time left, a desperate race against time ensues when the authorities receive a $500,000 ransom demand from the kidnappers in exchange for the couple's location. Finally, in 'The Abducted' (2009), Kathleen Benner stars as Valora, an ordinary young woman looking for love on the internet. When she meets Ridley Thompson (James Ray) through an online dating site, he seems pleasant enough, so she agrees to meet him in a public place. But unfortunately for Valora, Ridley is a twisted psychopath with a string of previous victims buried in his back garden...
