Having come from an unsettled background, Willie soon finds his feet in the idyllic west-country setting, and it's not long before the two are firm friends. But when Willie is called back to London, 'Mr Tom' wonders if he'll ever see the boy again. In 'Buried Treasure' (2001), John Thaw plays Harry Jenkins, an estate agent who discovers he is the grandfather of a mixed-race girl, Saffron, (Dominique Jackson), that he knew nothing about.
