Self-confessed stoner Woody Harrelson narrates this documentary about the American government's attitude to marijuana over the years. Contributors range from The Grateful Dead's Jerry Garcia to former US president George Bush Snr in a lid-lifter that demonises federal policy as a racist reaction to early Mexican immigration. Ultimately, it's the story of a costly and futile crusade against a substance - weed - with debatable ill effects but a chastening undermining of civil liberties.
