All four volumes of the series chronicling the history of tank warfare in World War Two. 'Dawn of the Titans' charts the rise of the PzKpfws I and II, as used in the 1939 invasion of Poland, and the deployment of the more powerful III and IV versions, as used against the French D-1, Russian BT-5 and British Matilda II, in the 1940 offensives against France, Holland and Belgium. 'Superior Force' features the models used on the Eastern Front in 1941; the Panzers deployed in battles at Bialystok and Minsk, and the Soviet T-34, which held the German tanks heading towards Moscow twenty miles short of their target. 'Death in Snow and Sand' covers Rommel's second offensive in North Africa, and the events leading up to Germany's first major defeat at the battle of Stalingrad. And 'Out-Blitzing the Blitzkrieg' looks at the Allied success in Sicily and the retreat of the Nazis from the Eastern and Western fronts.
