Synopsis

French comedy drama co-written and directed by Christian Vincent. The film follows Hortense Laborie (Catherine Frot), a popular cook from Périgord who is appointed the personal chef of the President of France (Jean d'Ormesson). Although her surprising appointment causes resentment among her new colleagues, Hortense does her best to win over her doubters and impress the President with her culinary skills.
