In '1961', Edith Tree (Vanessa Redgrave) attempts to get used to life on her own when her female partner of over fifty years passes away. '1972' sees a feminist co-ed (Michelle Williams) earn the disapproval of her friends when she unexpectedly falls for a butch outsider (Chloe Sevigny). While in '2000' a lesbian couple (Sharon Stone and Ellen DeGeneres) face complications and confusions when they decide to try for a child.
