Documentary set on one of the last discovered places on Earth, Australia's remote Christmas Island, off the coast of Indonesia. Poh Line works as a trauma counsellor in a high security detention centre for those seeking asylum to Australia. As the local islanders carry out their 'hungry ghost' rituals for the spirits of those who died on the island without a proper burial, 40 million land crabs make their journey from the jungle to the coastline in one of the planet's largest land migrations. The film charts Poh Lin's therapy sessions alongside the crabs' migration and reveals a disquieting similarity as both species attempt to survive.
