Two comedy movies starring Whoopi Goldberg. In 'Jumpin' Jack Flash' (1986), Goldberg plays a bored computer operator who receives an appeal for help on her screen from a British agent caught in Eastern Europe. She finds herself being drawn into the world of espionage, but manages to strike an effective balance between humour and intrigue. In 'Fatal Beauty' (1987), tough, wise-cracking narcotics cop Rita Rizzoli (Goldberg) goes on the trail of some poisoned cocaine, nicknamed 'Fatal Beauty', which has found its way onto the streets of Los Angeles. She finds an ally in bodyguard Nike Marshak (Sam Elliott) who has connections with a local businessman who could be involved.
