In 'Lone Wolf and Cub: Babycart in the Land of Demons' wandering samurai Ogami (Tomisaburo Wakayama) must kill five assassins, each one revealing more information about his mission, to save the honour of an ancient clan by killing its renegade royal family. In 'Zatoichi's Pilgrimage' the blind warrior (Shintaru Katsu) finds himself delivering a baby to her father after her mother is killed and becoming involved with a complicated and violent village feud. 'Lady Snowblood: Love Song of Vengeance' is set in the wake of Japan's historic 1905 victory in the war against Russia. Lady Snowblood (Yuki Kashima), about to be executed for her violent crimes, is offered a reprieve by government agents who want her to infiltrate an anarchist gang. After discovering the extent of the militarist government's conspiracy against innocent people though, she dedicates herself to an extremely violent revenge.
