Romantic drama based on the early lives and loves of artist Salvador Dali, film-maker Luis Bunuel and poet Federico Garcia Lorca. Change is threatening traditional values in 1922 Madrid as the new influences of jazz, Freud and the avant-garde begin to take hold. 18-year-old Dali (Robert Pattinson) arrives at university determined to become a great artist. There he is absorbed into the decadent and socially elite group presided over by Garcia Lorca (Javier Beltran) and Bunuel (Matthew McNulty). As the trio's indomitable careers and tangled romantic liaisons unfold over the subsequent decade, Spain lurches inexorably towards civil war.
