Synopsis

Late 1950s sci-fi chiller by 'King of the B-movie' Roger Corman. Remade three times since this original version, the film tells the story of a contemptuous alien vampire (Paul Birch) who has travelled to Los Angeles from the distant planet Davana via a high-tech matter transporter. He is now on the prowl for a suitable blood source to save his dying race back home following a devastating nuclear war that has decimated his planet's population. Corman regulars Beverly Garland, Morgan Jones and Dick Miller co-star.
