On June 27th 1976 an Air France plane was taken over by terrorists and instead of flying to Paris, landed in Entebbe, Uganda. Behind the scenes the Israeli forces (the IDF) planned a rescue attempt which was put into action a week later. Here director Gary Tarpinian's uses footage of this successful rescue (Operation Thunderbolt) from the archives of Mossad and the IDF alongside interviews with former hostages, intelligence agents and IDF members.
