Synopsis

Wyatt (Paul Rudd) and Kim are very much in love and resolve to remain faithful to each other despite studying at colleges a thousand miles apart. Wyatt is stunned when he hears that Kim has spent the night with someone called 'The Ricker' and goes out on the town to drown his sorrows. He pours his heart out to Ivy (Reese Witherspoon), an exotic dancer he meets in the bar, who suggests a way he can get his revenge: by posing in a bare-chested clinch with her and sending the photo to Kim. Deed duly done, Wyatt discovers 'The Ricker' is in fact a dog Kim was looking after and so he enlists Ivy's help in a madcap cross-country chase to stop the letter ever reaching Kim's hands.
