Mary Kerr directs this documentary which tells the remarkable story of a figure known as 'Radioman', a former homeless New Yorker who has appeared in over 100 films and worked with some of Hollywood's biggest names. Radioman attributes his homelessness to the struggles he faced with alcoholism for a number of years. However, his love for movies pulled him through and he became a regular fixture on Big Apple film sets, working with stars including Robin Williams, George Clooney and Meryl Streep and directors such as Martin Scorsese, Ridley Scott and Ron Howard. Radioman (so named for the radio he generally wears around his neck) has even attended the Oscars on the arm of Whoopi Goldberg and is now a New York celebrity in his own right.
