Synopsis

Crime drama directed by Allan Dwan and starring John Payne, Rhonda Fleming and Arlene Dahl. When Dorothy Lyons (Dahl) is released from prison on parole she is given over to the care of her sister June (Fleming) who works as a secretary for political candidate Frank Jansen (Kent Taylor). Despite seeing this as an opportunity to discredit Jansen and his cause, organised crime associate Ben Grace (Payne) has a disagreement with crime boss Solly Caspar (Ted de Corsia) and decides to help June. Ben falls for June, Dorothy falls for Ben, and June is drawn into Ben's scheming.
