Black comedy from film-maker Jaco Van Dormael. It turns out God (Benoît Poelvoorde) is alive and living in Brussels, mischievously tormenting humans from an outdated PC in a grim apartment. When his daughter Ea (Pili Groyne) decides that someone else would be able to do the job better she releases the preordained 'death dates' of everyone in the city which they receive by text message. This causes a national panic with people struggling to decide what to do with their remaining time, while others put the decree to the test, flinging themselves off high buildings and finding themselves always evading death in increasingly unlikely turns of fate. Determined to right the wrongs of her father, Ea sets out to create a new testament and selects six apostles to help her, each with their own unrequited desires and wishes. The cast also includes Catherine Deneuve and Yolande Moreau.
