Spy thriller directed by Roger Donaldson based on the book 'There Are No Spies' by Bill Granger. When veteran CIA officer Peter Devereaux (Pierce Brosnan) gets a call from his former boss John Hanley (Bill Smitrovich) informing him of an undercover agent who has infiltrated the Russian government, Hanley asks Devereaux to travel to Russia and extract her from her mission for the sake of her safety. Natalia Ulanova (Olga Kurylenko) has been posing as aide to the presidential candidate and former Russian Army General Arkady Fedorov (Lazar Ristovski) with the hope of gathering information that could implicate him in a long list of war crimes. As Devereaux begins to plan Natalia's extraction he realises that his former protege David Mason (Luke Bracey) has also been ordered to take her, but for very different reasons...
