Collection of classic romantic dramas. In the silent short 'A Society Sensation' (1918) wealthy playboy Dick Bradley (Rudolph Valentino) falls in love with fisherman's daughter Sydney Parmelee (Carmel Myers). 'The Hills of Donegal' (1947) follows the relationship between Irish singer Eileen (Dinah Sheridan) and her husband Terry (John Bentley) as their marriage begins to fall apart after they move to Donegal. In 'Those People Next Door' (1953), during the Second World War, the working-class Twigg family come into conflict with an upper-class family after their daughter falls in love with a RAF pilot. 'Peg of Old Drury' (1935) follows the life of actress Peg Woffington (Anna Neagle) from her humble Dublin roots to finding success and fame in London.
