Road trip drama set in the aftermath of Turkey's invasion of Cyprus in 1974. As a young man, Greek Cypriot Loukas (Akis Sakellariou) survived the invasion, but he has never overcome his painful memories of it. Now, a quarter of a century later, he lives a reclusive life in the divided city of Nicosia on the border between the Turkish and Greek territories. When he meets Phoebe (Mirto Alikaki), a black market trader who regularly crosses the border peddling her goods, he pays her to escort him back to the village where he grew up, now situated on the Turkish-occupied side of the island. As they go along, the two confront their demons and learn some important life lessons.
