British documentary centred on war correspondent Marie Colvin and her untimely death in war-torn Syria. In February 2012, Colvin illegally entered Syria where foreign journalists were forbidden to report on the ongoing civil war without permission from the Syrian government. Determined to give a true account of the atrocities taking place, Marie bypassed this roadblock and stationed herself, French photographer Rémi Ochlik and British photographer Paul Conroy in the city of Homs. She was briefly able to report on the constant barrage of shelling and sniper fire via satellite phone, before an attack was launched ultimately killing Colvin and Ochlik. Their surviving colleague, Conroy, recounts his version of events.
