Box set containing three popular martial arts movies. In 'Unleashed' (2005), Danny (Jet Li) is a slave who has been raised like a dog by the sinister Bart (Bob Hoskins), who keeps him chained up and only unleashes him to use his martial arts skills in illegal underground pit fights. When Bart is injured in an accident, Danny is able to escape from his hellish existance, and goes on the run in a world which he can barely comprehend. Then he meets kindly piano tuner Sam (Morgan Freeman), who begins to teach him about music and what it means to be human. But Danny's new freedom doesn't last for long, as Bart recovers and sets out to regain his property. In 'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon' (2000), Yu Shu Lien (Michelle Yeoh) has been charged with bringing the Green Destiny, a legendary antique sword, to its new owner in the capital. But the sword is stolen by a mysterious black-clad thief whose martial arts expertise outshines even that of Shu Lien herself. Li Mu Bai (Chow Yun Fat) soon arrives to help search for the sword, and his suspicions are aroused when he realises that his old enemy Jade Fox (Cheng Pei-Pei) is nearby. 'Kung Fu Hustle' (2004) is set amid the chaos of pre-revolutionary China, small time thief, Sing (Stephen Chow), aspires to be one of the sophisticated and ruthless Axe Gang whose underworld activities overshadow the city. Stumbling across the crowded apartment complex aptly known as 'Pig Sty Alley', Sing attempts to extort money from one of the ordinary locals, but the neighbours are not what they appear. Sing's comical attempts at intimidation inadvertantly attract the Axe Gang into the fray, setting off a chain of events that brings the two disparate worlds face-to-face. As the inhabitants of the Pig Sty fight for their lives, the ensuing clash of Kung Fu titans unearths some legendary martial arts masters. Sing, despite his futile attempts, lacks the soul of a killer, and must face his own mortality in order to discover the true nature of the Kung Fu master.
