Richard E. Grant makes his writer-director debut with this acerbically funny and poignant semi-autobiographical drama. Set in late 1960s when Swaziland is on the verge of its independence, Grant manages to concoct a "coming of age at the end of an age" story with fantastic performances all round. Spiffing.
