Collection of three films restored by the World Cinema Foundation, an organisation chaired by internationally renowned director Martin Scorsese. 'Dry Summer' (1964), which received the Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival of 1964, follows the attempts by a Turkish tobacco farmer to ruin his competitor's business by building a dam. 'Trances' (1981) follows one of Morocco's most revered bands, Nass-El Ghiwane, while their country is experiencing great difficulty and shows how the group are informed and influenced by their environment. Finally, 'Revenge' (1989) shows the plight of a young Kazakh boy to avenge the brutal killing of his brother by a schoolteacher.
