Synopsis

A witty romantic comedy set in middle class England about two female lovers, one a career driven lawyer and the other a fun loving, pot smoking layabout; and their annoying Casanova neighbour. Alex (Faye Marsay) and Olivia (Lucy Punch) are two women with vastly different lives but a shared love of each other. Olivia, a career driven lawyer is turning 40 and feels her body clock is ticking - she wants a baby. Alex, much younger can’t think anything beyond where her next bong hit is coming from. After Olivia secretly, and successfully, does a course of IVF, Alex hits the booze and ends up sleeping with John (David Tennant), their sleazy neighbour. Both end up pregnant, creating conflicts that cause each to re-examine their outlook on life and the relationship. The film brings humour, controversy, tears and an unexpected emotional twist.
