After examining the challenges faced by elephants, veterinary scientist Mark Evans leads a team dissecting a 65ft, 60-ton fin whale that died off the Irish coast. By exploring its anatomy, they set about finding out how it perished and search for clues to its evolution. The series also gets inside a crocodile, to see how it has changed since the age of the dinosaurs, and a giraffe, to discover why it has the highest blood pressure of any animal.
