All seven episodes from the first season of the US sitcom, co-produced by Adam Sandler, chronicling the trials and tribulations of modern romance as seen through the eyes of two couples and their single friend. Oliver Hudson and Bianca Kajlich star as Adam and Jennifer, who get engaged at the beginning of the series, to the delight of long-term marrieds Jeff (Patrick Warburton) and Audrey (Megyn Price) - and the dismay of Adam's acerbic bachelor friend Russell (David Spade). Audrey and Jeff decide to sleep in separate bedrooms when his snoring gets out of hand; Russell tries to secure a date with Audrey's sister (guest star Heather Locklear); and Jennifer and Adam discover that sex tapes should not be made by amateurs.
Adam and Jennifer take dancing lessons in preparation for their wedding; Russell learns that having Timmy as his assistant can have its advantages; and Jeff tries to prove to Audrey he's still young enough to play softball.
Russell sends Timmy to retrieve his phone from an apartment where he had just enjoyed a one-night stand; Adam tries to get his upstairs neighbour to stop playing his guitar so loudly; and Audrey lies to her friend Liz that she is on Jeff's list of women he would sleep with if Audrey wasn't around.
Jeff and Audrey's perfect candidate to serve as their surrogate is ruined when Russell has a fling with her; Jeff accidentally reveals he keeps a list of Audrey's faults; and Timmy falls for a co-worker.
Russell reveals he married Liz on board a cruise ship; Jeff's plans for a boys-only weekend away are ruined when Audrey catches him impersonating her doctor; and Adam is disappointed to discover he only gets special treatment because of his good looks.
